Børge Ring Memorial Day February 17, 2019
Børge peacefully passed away on December 27, 2019. Instead of a big sad funeral, we decided to organise a joyful Memorial Day on the day he would have turned 98, on February 17.
Our doors are open from 10:00 until 22:00. The address is:

Wear your happy clothes, when you come. And instead of flowers, maybe you can bring something nice that you made?
Bring something to eat or drink
We would be SO delighted if you would bring a dish you cooked, a drink you love, something to share with others. The sharing of these on this special day in Børge’s and Joanika’s house would be so amazing! Those who have attended our parties in the past know we always did it like this. Børge loved it (we all know how he loved to eat!) And it helps us all as we do expect quite a number of participants. If all bring something nice to eat for 4 people, we can all share and enjoy and be inspired.
We have a great beamer and a laptop, which makes presenting digital presentations possible. So if you have one, feel free to bring it. We will all have time to exchange anekdotes about Børge that day.
Børge’s Memorial Tree
We’re planning to plant a Japanse Cherry Tree in loving memory of Børge. We chose this tree, because Børge literally blossomed and flourished his entire life. Contributions to this tree are welcome! Børge has written his autobiography, did you know?
Originally it was written in Danish, and it has been translated to Dutch. On February 21st 2015, Børge’s translated autobiography was presented to the Dutch audience. And there’s more! Additionally the Børge Ring Artbook was presented.
